Auto Detailing & Window Tint Business Marketing Tips

Auto Detailing & Window Tint Business Marketing Tips

7 Things you can do to generate new business today – FOR FREE.

If you’re looking for ways to get more auto detailing clients or window tinting clients, you’re in luck! Today, we’re going to share seven free ways that you can generate leads or clients without having to spend any money on advertising. These tips will help you get the most out of Google My Business, Facebook, Nextdoor, SMS, and Email marketing. Let’s get started!

Google My Business

If you haven’t claimed your business on Google My Business yet, now is the time! This is a free listing that allows you to control how your business appears in search results. Be sure to fill out all of the information and add photos, so potential customers can learn more about your business. Once you’ve claimed your listing, you can start to monitor and respond to reviews. This is a great way to build credibility and show potential customers that you’re an authority in your industry. You should be using the “Whats new” or Update feature and post pictures with short blurbs about the service you are offering. “This Tesla Model Y now has our Ceramic Window Tint installed. If you’re looking for window tint in Pottstown, PA, Total Detailing is the best.” Sounds cringe, right? That’s OK – The point is to get Google to show it to people searching for things. This is THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF YOUR ENTIRE ONLINE EXISTENCE!

Local Facebook Community Groups

Another great way to generate leads or clients is by joining local Facebook community groups. This is a great way to connect with potential customers in your area who may be interested in your services. Be sure to introduce yourself and let people know what you do. You can also post special offers or deals that you’re running to attract new business. You can search inside of those groups for one or 2 words like “auto detailing” or “window tint” to find people who have previously posted that are looking for your service.

Facebook Business Page

In addition to your personal profile, you should also create a Facebook business page. This is a great way to showcase your work, post special offers and deals, and connect with potential customers. Be sure to include all of your contact information and business hours, so people can easily get in touch with you. You can post short videos and pictures with educational content to help clients see why you are the best choice in their market. Your Facebook business page is a great way to get in front of your local demographic.

Using Nextdoor (Free Community App)

Nextdoor is a free app and website that connects you with your neighbors. It’s a great way to stay in the loop about what’s happening in your community. You can also use Nextdoor to promote your business. Include information about your services and why people should choose you. People are also always looking for professional services.

SMS/Text Campaign

Everyone loves a good SMS campaign! You can use an SMS Marketing Tool like our GRIT SUITE (which is also a sales CRM) or if you need something fast – Clicksend or Twilio. You can send a discount or offer to your existing client list. Make sure that they have opt-in for market communications from your business!

Email Campaign

Just like SMS, you can use an email marketing tool to reach out to your existing customers and promote your services. You can also use this opportunity to send a survey to get feedback from your customers or offer them a deal or discount or offer educational material (for example – the difference between ceramic coating and paint protection film or perhaps the difference between carbon window film and ceramic window film)

Follow up with old leads!

The old saying goes “The riches are in the follow up”.  Don’t forget about your old leads! It’s always a good idea to reach out to people who have shown interest in your services in the past, even if they didn’t end up using your services. You can send them a personal email or give them a call to catch up and see if they’re still interested. It is also a good idea to ask if they know anyone else who is looking for your service.

The biggest point to remember in all of this – you are a business which means you need to communicate and market. Do not feel like you’re being pushy.  People do business with people they like, know, and trust so get out there and reach your clients!

These are all great ways to get in front of potential customers so they can start to develop that relationship with you!
